This week we have been busy finishing up our PBL "What's the past got to do with it". We have published our group books and they will be displayed Monday in the hall, please come by and check them out! In addition to wrapping up our project, we took a trip to the manor to craft some snowmen with the residents. It was so much fun! Below are some pictures from our visit. Many students decided to leave their snowman with a resident to help decorate the manor. It has been truly touching to see the relationships that have developed between all the first grade classes and the Queen Anne Manor residents. We will be presenting our quilt illustrating our time at the Manor this Friday, December 14th at 1:00 pm. This visit is open to all families who would like to come. We will have five to six students from each class share their experience, all three first grades will sing a song and then we will have a cookie snack to share with the residents. If you would like to come, we will leave the school at 12:45 and will walk over to the Manor. We will probably return around 1:45. After we return to the school, we will be sharing our videos that the students filmed from our visit. The videos are all on the internal server at the school and if you can't make it to our celebration, please feel free to watch them another time at school. Here are some photos from our recent visit: Thank you for your support and hope to see you this Friday at the Queen Anne Manor!
