I hope everyone had a great spring break, I can’t believe we are already in the home stretch! We have a lot going on in these last few weeks. I am going to bullet the highlights in this week’s newsletter.
- Thursday April 24th.Writers’ Celebration at 9:45. We are celebrating the end of our realistic fiction writing unit. We will begin in the cafeteria where several students from each class will share their writing and then we will go back to the classroom to share our writing. If you would like to bring a healthy snack to the celebration, please let me know. Please join us if you can!
- On Friday we will have the first of our field trips to Discovery Park for birding, we have one more spot available for a volunteer if you would like to come. Please sign up on volunteer spot.
- It has come to my attention that the jog-a-thon has been scheduled on a day we were supposed to go birding-May 16th. We will have to cancel that trip, I will try to reschedule if possible.
- We have been invited by our pen pals at Sacajawea Elementary to join them at Golden Gardens on June 12, I do not have an exact time yet but plan on leaving in the morning and returning in the afternoon. We will need drivers and parent volunteers to come with us. Also June 12th is the day I have my test for National Boards so Ms. Teske will go on the field trip and I will join the group after my test is done around 12:00.
